Change
Management for IT department - Publishing Company
Overview:
Recent merge of disparate IT functions into one shared, centralised
function. Change in Management, culture and a need to become more
customer centric. Redundancies and closure of regional sites had
left core teams (of 130) feeling demotivated, insecure and confused.
Objective:
To help teams identify the changes, the purpose of the changes,
their role within the changes. To help them gain a sense of identity
and to develop stronger relationships between different IT functions.

1 day team event that would cover:
Result:
It was anticipated, when the event was launched, that their would
be a high drop out, due to the feelings and emotions that were
apparent due to the recent changes. Overall 10 x 1 day workshops
were run to accommodate all personnel and there was an 85% attendance
rate.
Feedback from individuals attending the event was positive and
many came away feeling a sense of identity, stronger team relationships
and a greater understanding of their role in making the shared
service a success. We are currently planning their next team activity
